Our Beliefs
- First, people are born spiritually whole; an individual’s choices and subsequent actions determine the quality of personal fulfillment.
- The next premise is that our Gods and Goddesses are free and sovereign, and so are we.
- Finally, people possess the same spark of divinity as the Gods. It is our conviction that we engage our Deities as peers; we are co-workers in this world.
As such, we are in direct relationship and interaction with our Gods and Goddesses.
In addition to celebrating our Gods and Goddesses in ritual, we have three additional ways to encourage divine interaction.
- One of the most rewarding practices in our Druidism is developing a relationship with a deity who becomes an individual’s matron or patron.
- The next provision for interactions with deities occurs when we offer tokens to the celebrants representing each God and Goddess honored at our rites.
- Our third custom, which enhances communication with our Deities, is the annual commitment to personal goals or projects. This takes place at the Celtic New Year celebration in October. There is an acknowledgement of a celebrant’s progress or lack thereof at each subsequent feast throughout the year.
